Mechanics Hub starts with a 14-day free trial so you can run real jobs through it before you decide. No card is needed to start.
What's in the trial
The trial gives you the core workshop so you can see the whole workflow end to end.
- Customers, vehicles, jobs, job sheets and the diary.
- Digital health checks and branded PDF invoices.
- Stock control and CSV import of your parts list.
- DVLA and MOT registration lookups.
- Email reminders for MOT and service dates.
What needs a subscription
A few things cost us money to send or run, so they start once you subscribe to the Workshop plan.
- SMS: text reminders and quick SMS messages.
- Your garage website: you can set it up during the trial, but it only goes live and takes booking requests once you subscribe.
- Full vehicle history checks.
- Uploading your own health check sheet.
When the trial ends
If you haven't subscribed when the 14 days are up, your workshop is paused until you do. Your data is kept: nothing is deleted.
Admins can subscribe from the billing section of Account settings, monthly or yearly. Once you've subscribed, you can claim free setup from the same billing page: we'll build your garage website and import your customers and vehicles for you.
FAQ
Is SMS included in the trial?
No. Email reminders work during the trial. SMS starts once you subscribe, and the Workshop plan includes a monthly SMS allowance.
Do I lose my data if I do not subscribe?
No. Your account and everything you entered are kept. The workshop is paused until you subscribe.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You only add payment details when you choose to subscribe.
