Set up your garage website, add your services and photos, use your own domain, and accept online booking requests into your diary.

The Workshop plan includes a one-page garage website with online booking. Customers find your services, opening hours and contact details, and send you booking requests that you accept straight into your diary.

Set up your website

Open Business Settings → Website. Your logo, colour, phone, email, address and opening hours come from your Business and Diary settings automatically, so you only add the content.

  • Headline, and the town, city or area you serve.
  • About text, up to 300 characters.
  • Three short reasons customers choose you.
  • Up to 12 services, with optional 'from' prices.
  • One wide main photo and three workshop photos (JPG, PNG or WebP under 8MB). Leave any empty to use our garage images.

Preview and go live

Use the preview to check how it looks, then save. Turn on 'Website live and taking booking requests' to publish it. Your website goes live once you're subscribed to the Workshop plan.

Copy your website link to share it, put it on your Google Business Profile and social pages, or add it to your van.

Booking requests

Customers choose a service and preferred date and leave their details and registration. Requests appear under Jobs → Online Bookings. Accept a request to put it in your diary, or decline it. The customer is emailed either way.

Use your own domain

If you have a domain, for example smithsmotors.co.uk, enter it on the Website tab. You buy and renew the domain yourself. Where you bought it, add two A records, named @ and www, both pointing to 185.158.133.1.

The status shows 'Waiting to be connected' until we've connected it. We'll let you know when it's live.

FAQ

Can I change the layout?

The layout is fixed, so you manage the content yourself. We handle the basic on-site SEO, fix anything that breaks, and can make custom changes on request.

Do I need my own domain?

No. Your website has its own Mechanics Hub link that you can share straight away. A custom domain is optional.
